JR won't have this franchise much longer..

Here is the Panther franchise ownership schematic. Looking at this, I think it would take a lot more than just Jerry selling his interest in the team to make anything happen. There are at least 7 other companies, 4 family members and at least 7 other shareholders. Collectively, they all represent a minority interest, but only by a few percentage points.

Buttercup, you've looked silly these past few days. You're a joke, and an emotional wreck. Pull your skirt up my G.

My girl calls me a nerd. Most dudes in my profession are....and I create spreadsheets daily. I will definitely add you to it!

I may be wrong, but I thought that part of JRs succession plan was that whoever bought the team had to agree to keep it in Charlotte for X number of years. And I believe the number was 15. Anyone else know the answer here?

JR also said he would bring a Lombardi to the Carolinas within 10 years.

That dude flip flops with the herd.

Just another one of the huddle sheep that can't think for himself.

He knows it too.

Right. Funny thing is the clown will be all up the panthers skirt again in a few months. Meanwhile, it'll be hilarious watching him emotion it up all over the board the next few days

Lol if y'all don't think we'd be better off under new ownership, you're dumber than I thought @*FreeFua* @AggieLean

Or are y'all just yes men?

Have I ever said I didn't think that?

I've been saying for years how as long as JR owns this team we're doomed. You guys have always loved the fact that this organization was more than just a business. I've caught so much flack in the past.

Trust me, I know as long as JR is here we need Cam to carry this team to a SB like he almost did in 15.

And don't think for a second I want Hurney here long term. But I truly believe Dave needed to go and for that reason alone I am happy.

Atleast Hurney said he realizes it's a passing league now. Dave always went on about the trenches and then marched out Byron Bell and Mike Remmers at tackle

Get out your feelings.

Ive been saying how JR wasn't that great of an owner for years. Most of the time I've said that in the past, I was met by the mob, because up until now, JR has always been off limits from criticism around here. I'm pretty sure your sheepish, follow the crowd a** was one of those who got on anybody who said anything about JR in the past. I feel the same as I did before, but what I don't agree with is wishing death on that man. That's some emotional, evil ish. So, yes buttercup, I've been saying JR wasn't that great as an owner

serious question... what percentage of the team does JR own?

i wish no ill on the man. but im also of the mindset that its high time the other parties bought him out.

as for the Panthers leaving after being sold, they wont be. the market is too big and growing, the fans too loyal. makes sense to just keep the team here

Not going to do that. I'll take your word for it. I can almost bet, though, in the past you were one of those who went at anybody who said something about JR.

I mean, that's fine. But I'm telling you, I wasn't. Anyway- not sure why we are going back and forth here either.
