I may be wrong, but I thought that part of JRs succession plan was that whoever bought the team had to agree to keep it in Charlotte for X number of years. And I believe the number was 15. Anyone else know the answer here?

I don't see this team moving anywhere. Charlotte is a growth city and has a 20+ year track history of supporting a franchise. That is not something that will be up and moved. 

 

Now, threatening to move for a new stadium deal....entirely possible.
