Mark my words, he will become the new GM. You are kidding yourself if you think otherwise.  said it once and I will say it again, this is a slap in the face of fans. It is akin to letting Cam Newton walk abd signing Jimmy Clausen to replace him.

Salt in the wound. I am so torn right now. On the one hand I want to switch teams, I have a few in mind but then I think that JR is on borrowed time and wont be around much longer to put up with his BS so a part of me wants to tough it out and stick around.

I have so much invested in this team and so much familiriaty already. I am so torn.

Me too Jeremy, me too. Just keep the site running for a few more years please.

The only good thing about this is the players will probably not mind it, especially the vets. That's the only good outcome

But I call it how I see it, Hurney will become full-time GM and JR has seriously lost his damn mind if it goes that way. JR is on his way to being the next Al Davis

It's difficult to be a fan here right now. I can't cheer for Hurney, JR, Olsen, or TD. I still love so many guys on this team and am excited by our rookies but im super deflated. I feel like I'll watch but won't yell or stand or cheer as much.

I am too, and said so yesterday, I'm disheartened. But, we have Cam Newton. It seems some of have forgotten that, and a hellava team around him. Gettleman can't win games. Rivera can'twin games. Shula... but Cam has proven, when the team is clicking, they can win. Hurney will not be in Carolina one year from now.(or 8 months) probably get paid more on the radio anyways...

We will be better off without you.  Any fan who allows a front office decision to cause them to revoke their fandom was never a true fan to begin with.  If Browns fans can still fill a stadium week after week after decades of pure torture, you'd think your whiny ass could deal with a front office change.

But like I said, if that is how you think, then we are better off without you.  Good riddance.

He's seen the light

All this gloom and doom based solely on speculation, rumor and panic is exhausting.  No one knows poo about any of it.  I have no use for Hurney either however, guessing the future of this team based solely on speculation, rumors and panic driven stupidity is pointless. Its like a contagious disease.  Nobody has a damn clue of what is actually going to happen. Im just ready for camp and football. That i know is going to happen.

Agreed.  And all the posters talking about rooting for other teams and hoping the Panthers do terrible are ridiculous.  I swear you would think we just traded Cam and Luke away and got nothing in return the way people are reacting.  It's blowing my mind quite honestly, even for the huddle!

Now we can extend our 34 year old rotational injury prone linebacker to a long term deal, and make our 31 year old tight end the highest paid tight end in football. Meanwhile, Star leaves, Turner leaves, and we have very little money to fill our soon to be numerous holes. It's pretty crappy what is happening with out organisation right now. TD has tarnished his legacy with this move.
