Hopefully this go around maybe Hurney learned from his mistakes. This article is terrifying though, specifically the chart.

In case you don't want to click the link; the chart is a breakdown of the 2009-2011 draft and highlights which players at the time still were still remaining on the roster.

I'm going to enjoy watching this team burn.

Richardson deserves every piece of criticism coming his way.

You're going to enjoy watching the team you like burn and stumble? Yikes, you should probably find another team to root for

You need to add the money he gave Jake after that crazy bad Arizona playoff game.

I do blame Hurney for that. But I also blame Fox and JR. They were all up Delhomme's ass when Moore should have started the second half of that game.

Hurney worries me too.  But what's crazy is that all of that happened in 12 months out of his 10 year GM career here.  One horrific offseason, possibly the worst in NFL history, out of 10.  I've always wondered what the hell he was thinking during that time.  Because the rest of his tenure was quite the opposite.  Hell he was so cheap that he turned to Rodney Peete as our answer at QB.

He sucked the rest of the time as well. No back to back playoffs, no good picks out of the first round, trading up to get Jeff Otah and AE. When we did play FA he failed at that too. To the point JR pulled the check book and that's when the draft gambling happened. He was a terrible talent evaluater and when fox left it got worse because Rivera sucks at it too. Dave and Ron worked because the other one had what the other lacked.

For the record...we still haven't had back to back winning seasons.  Sneaking in at 7-8-1 in a very weak division shouldnt be a resume builder.

Hurney did sign Shockey and trade for Olsen.  Meanwhile we are still stuck with Dickson.
