Our team is gonna be one of the top teams this year, as this will all be an afterthought in a month

It's getting somewhat unbearable honestly. Im not in whole agreement with the timing of JR's choice, but the chicken littles saying to forfeit the season are hilarious.

They'll be here when this team is rolling over fools.

Sure, it's a 2-man mutiny.

Let me know how pissed off you are at Olsen and Davis when you're screaming like a little girl the first great play they make this season.

How about in two years when we're paying out the ying yang for old players and going 6-10 when we could have singed 5 young and hungry dogs and go 11-5 until infinity

If the organization said the sky was blue, Oher would say it was green. Dude is trying so hard to get out of here with a fat bag of cash that he's going to say and do whatever it takes to make that happen. His end game is so transparent.

How do you know what's in his mind? Gentleman did take the time to go to Tennessee and visit with Oher personally when nobody else did and that means something to some people. Are you forgetting that Oher wanted to come here as a FA and praised the Panthers franchise when he was still healthy?

Do you really not see what Oher is trying to do here? He doesn't want to play anymore and doesn't want to retire for financial reasons. He wants to be cut. It's not rocket science.

What the hell does that have to do with whether he likes Gettleman or not? He could force the Panthers to cut him with or without Gettleman. There is no reason for him to weigh in on the matter one way or the other.

Because he feels like the best way to get out of here is by being a contrarian. If everyone is happy that Gettleman was fired, he's going to be unhappy about it. Maybe the new GM will take it as a personal slight. Maybe JR will take it as a personal slight. This crap is on the front page of ESPN right now just like his nonsense with the pill bottles. He's being dramatic. He wants out of here and he doesn't care how many times he has to in public question the organization in order to get it done. It's a media war of attrition. The Panthers aren't cutting him a check if he's healthy enough to play and he's not going away until he gets paid no matter how good or bad he feels. This is a negotiation tactic by him. Draw enough negative attention to yourself and the organization and maybe they'll feel compelled to give you the release you want so you're not a distraction.

None of that is going to make any difference in how much money Oher gets in an injury settlement. You're going to break your arm if you keep reaching like this.

If he's cleared by the doctors to play, an injury settlement probably isn't going to happen. He'll either have to show up to play or get cut in order to get his checks. The fact that he's already shown up at the facility is reason enough to believe he's willing to go the whole way with this game of chicken. It's not reaching, it's what's literally happening.

You still haven't explained to me how anything he says or does changes any injury settlement that might happen. The checks he gets for showing up will be exactly the same as they would have been if he didn't say a word about Gettleman. Again, you're reaching.
