Do some fugging research.

Gross, Tillman, Cotchery, Love, Allen, etc spoke highly of him too. Don't try to spin it. Hell, so did Beason and Tolbert... until he got fired. The fact is most of the players who are taunting Gettleman were outspoken divas who couldn't handle being shown the door.

Sure, it's a 2-man mutiny.

Let me know how pissed off you are at Olsen and Davis when you're screaming like a little girl the first great play they make this season.

so funny how ppl interpret reports at face value here

like if there was an article where smitty said that he witnessed gettleman jacking off at the stadium concourse in front of the popcorn stand ppl would be like "HA! i fuging knew it! WHAT A GRADE A SCUMBAG why isn't CNN reporting this?!"

but a player expressing that he has nothing but praise and goodwill for gettleman is responded to with all of this underhanded speculation and theory.

c'mon frash... The way the cards currently read to me is, at the very least, 4-1 AGAINST DG.

I know you hate Smitty with a passion, but we got at least 3 other guys saying pretty much the same things...

In retrospect, I should only count MeAngelo as .25, so 3.25-1...

For those of you who assume Gettleman's a heartless monster who doesn't build personal relationships with players, you're dead wrong.

Michael Oher lashed out at the Panthers organization, expressing disdain at their decision to fire Gettleman, and explaining how huge their relationship was.

This just makes me even more mad. Gettleman seemed to be the only one who cared much about Oher and his well-being, while the rest of the Panthers seemed to have already moved on from him.

This is sad.

I bet millions in dead cap and the hope he can salvage Oher to play right tackle might have played into the concern. I wonder how many times he has contacted Norman or Peanut or other guys who have no ties to playing anymore.....

Understand that the other four have had been acquainted with Hurney and probably used to his overpriced gimmicks.

Peanut, Allen, and a whole host of others have said plenty of positive things about Gettleman.

I know they said good things about the team and organization but not Gettleman specifically. I also wonder if they still would say that once they are gone.... Just speculation on my part....

Tillman (as recent as this off season), Harper and Allen spoke positively of Gettlemen. Where have you been?

Again I didn't hear them acknowledge Gettleman specifically. Perhaps you can elucidate for me with a quote or two. I would hope he isn't universally disliked.

Quote or it didn't happen....

I've seen that as well. He said on broadcast, so chances of it being online are slim.

But of course you're in your little bubble where you think everyone hates Gettleman and anything said positively about him is heresy. Same way with you and assuming Cam Newton's also bad and inaccurate.

I notice a trend.
