Scott Fowler thinks fans need a real explanation for Gettleman's firing

What if they came out and said that there was no single action which led to this change but there were mounting issues and concerns that were negatively impacting the team and others within the organization.

translation:  Gettleman was a big bag o' dicks to everyone and it was causing locker room issues and may have been part of the reason that Morrison and Beene decided to go.  Coach is pissed, players are angry and people in the office hate working with the guy. Sure The TD/Olsen thing is a factor but it is not the single overriding reason.

I feel like this is the most probable explanation for the action. Not a single reason, but a pattern of behavior that lead to an 'enough is enough' moment from JR.

You don't sound like a douche.

The only way I see Big Cat coming out publicly to discuss this is from media pressure, but the local media ain't about that life.

Yes, I intentionally used "ain't " instead of "isn't."

:)

Haha yeah I don't expect to hear anything either.

This is pretty much what I have been thinking as well. I think the Beane part also played a big factor. He knew he was next up for the GM job but left anyway to go to Buffalo of all places who's owner isn't all there either. I think that along with growing concerns within the locker room was the last straw.

Will the Huddlers apologize to JR when this team is hoisting the Lamordi Trophy?

And if we don't hit it big these next 2 years then stuck with over the hill vets sucking up all the cap because of friends/loyalty and no room to sign FA. The young talent walks off because not enough in the pot to pass around.

Then were back to 2010 and drafting in the top 10. Maybe that'll be another stacked draft class with 75% of the top 10 will be in the hall. So we can go on a talk how Great the GM is that gets fired for poor record.......but hey he sure set up the next guy with that core franchise guy with the top pick. And he sure was a nice guy, almost a Santa to some older guys

Hope for Lambordi but history isn't in our favor.

That's a lot IFs I think it's gonna be total opposite of that . We are going to win it big first of all.

we can lure FA for chance to win ring

Salary Cap is going to Rise

We have all our draft picks

We will be successful

No.If we're not back in cap hell in 4 years, I will apologize.

EDIT: I really hope that the next guy keeps us financially sound while keeping (most) players happy.
