all we needed was joe fugging person to make up some dumb azz rumor, so why would he deny or confirm reports because it has been reported? he wouldnt have even needed to hear from the organization to stay mum.

he might come back. i don't see a real downside unless he's considered the long term answer again, which it's being made pretty clear that the interim tag is what we're looking for here. every significant move of the offseason except Greg and TD have been handled. unless you think he can mangle those two situations enough to put us in a bad spot, I don't see the hand wringing over this. he has experience and he's temporary at best.
