All Getleman did right was manage the cap.  He sucked, plain and simple.  All you guys that worshiped at his feet can now come to grips with the fact that he did used stop gaps to fix hole and had no real plan to build this team.  We had tons of holes and all he wanted to do is draft DL, not invest in WR, TE or DB.  He would have been great for the 1950s.  He sucks now.

The timing of this makes me fear the season is now in jeopardy. The ripples that this could send through the organization could be devastating. fug. I'm not against a change if that's what they felt was due, but right NOW?! This has to be one of the weirdest things I've seen since, well, JNo's contract being rescinded. Come to think of it, they may be tangentially related.

The timing of this is so weird. After free agency and the draft. After letting the #2 GM go to another team. Right before the season starts. The why needs to become clear soon, because at the surface this makes no sense.
