The only people that are happy that Gettleman is gone are people that don't understand football. This is a terrible move at an even worse time and our franchise just took a huge step back. Jerry is going to hire a sock puppet and we're fuged

exactly. terrible fuging move.

We just pulled a Redskins (firing a GM at an awful time), for a guy who will value loyalty (*insert mediocre franchise*) while moving away from sustained success (New England)

fug me.

2 things, can't be bitching when half of you posters would run to your computer to talk about how big dg balls were for playing hardball with players, and how much of a badass he was for it

secondly, quit comparing our moves to the pats, can't treat players like trash and not have the results to back them up, pats have several rings, and the goat at qb so they can pretty much do wtf they want and have established that for the last decade. the timing is bad, but overall, as a business you can not be successful with shitty customer service, or treating employees shitty

we will probably go back to handing out massive contracts to mediocre player so long as they are "our guys", screwing our cap and not letting us bring in any outside FAs worth a damn, and go 7-9 or 8-8 every year with damn near zero chance of a championship

can't wait

Yes, there couldn't possibly be any middle ground between massive contracts and completely torpedoing locker room morale in the name of business.

funny people keep bring up this terrible locker room yet every player over the last few years has gushed about how great our locker room is and how it's the best they've ever been involved with
