Dave Gettleman FIRED as Panthers GM

This franchise is a big fat joke. Until there is new ownership there will never be a consistent winner. I was partially done watching as it was and this just may be the icing on the cake. I can find much better things to do on Sundays.

This makes zero sense right now. I want to know what was going on behind the scenes.

Good thing we have Brandon Beene, ohh wait...

I told y'all there was beef going on between Ron & DG and of course the way he handled the player situation

This makes no sense AT ALL!  WTF.  Who would have guessed that Gettleman would be gone before Mike "15 Yard Routes" Shula? This organization tries so hard to not win Super Bowls it hurts.  This guy helped right this franchise, and then he is gone a week before training camp. He wasn't perfect, but no GM or person is.

This just cost us a Superbowl opportunity this year

Maybe even shortened our window.

As far as this year, I hope this doesn't prove to be a distraction. We still have the talent to make a run.

But the future? I don't know if we'll be like the Patriots and have multiple opportunities anymore.

you have to remember when hurney was passing out record breaking contracts just to re-sign a 2-14 team it was all under the instruction of JR. that's how richardson wants to run the team, give out massive undeserved contracts to those he deems "loyal". great way to make the players like you i guess but you're not winning sh-t by running a franchise that way.

gettleman pays people based on the value they bring to the team and if they want some absurd contract he lets them walk. that's how literally every consistently successful franchise does business but JR would rather be nice to guys he likes rather than run a franchise the way you need to see continued success
