Hey buddy,

I can kind of help here, but this is based on past years, not sure if this has changed. They move around a lot, and if you've been before, you may know you only have access to 2/4 sides of the field on the regular field for training camp (not the bigger field where they do the kickoff)

If its the regular field by then, you can move back and forth on the bottom right corners of the rectangular field so to speak from the sideline on the side with the hill to the end zone on the bottom of the field.

On one side, you will literally be 5 feet from the guys- this is the side with the hill. On the other side you are a bit further away bc its the bottom so you have the end zone in between you and sometimes they will be on the other side of the field back in the corner you can't access.

They start out together on 1 field, whistle blows, they break out into their respective groups, from what Ive seen in the past, Cam and receivers usually go on the far field where you cant get very close, and Lineman are usually closer to the hill.

Eventually (and this may be more later in TC rather than earlier), they will all come to the far field (where you stand below the end zone) and scrimmage all together.

Either way, its really cool and a very close up experience if you have never been. Hope to see you around the tailgates this year!

Cribbs is pretty good too, interesting spin on good southern food, burgers and sandwiches

I also really like The Farmer's Table, very home-like feel to it, and good salads

thefarmerstablesc.com

Both of those are great! The Standard, mentioned before, at Drayton Lofts is really good as well -- new restaurant. We have others going up every day, it seems.

Tailgating with what coffee and KK? We got there really early last year for autographs and I think most practices start at 9 or 9:30.

Hey tailgating with Krispy Kremes sounds just FINE to me!
