Weight/Diet Help

I did the Whole30 thing with my wife a few months ago. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially someone looking to improve their eating habits.

It's basically a 30 day "reset" where you cut out things like bread, dairy, added sugar and focus on fresh produce and high quality meats. Three hearty meals a day, not much snacking. It definitely changed the way I view food and cravings.

We just used these two books as a guideline.

Just wanted to update with one of my tools which has been highly effective.  I've been using www.nutritionix.com App on my phone to track and plan my meals on a daily basis.  I also log my morning weigh-ins there as well.  It has a huge database of food items including most restaurants/fast-food establishments which makes sticking to one's macros and caloric goals much easier.

I've been logging consistently for 14 days now and in that time have dropped another 5.5 pounds.  Having a good food log also makes it easier to sneak in some food items one might not think are possible to fit in their diet (I had an entire Blaze pizza last week while hitting my macros and staying under caloric limit).
