Scouting the Panthers offense

Looking in on Jeff Fisher's game plans as the Rams coach is akin to reading the blackboards in porn movies... not written to really make sense and generally rife with spelling errors. In both cases it just distracts from the fact that the team is going to get f'ed again.

The whole concept behind this speculation seems pretty suspect...why use a color scheme to very generically grade a player's talent? What good does that actually do for game preparation? Saying "oh this player is average, this one is below average, this one is elite" does nothing at all for an actual professional team preparing to play a professional football game.

You could maybe make a case that this would be useful supplemental info along with a more proper scouting report, but it still seems like a very superficial and empty classification, reminiscent of some offseason clickbaity "NFL.com" article. Or to sort of expand upon someone else's analogy, it's like if you were playing Madden and you're scouting your opponent by only using "OVR" ratings rather than diving into a player or unit's strengths and weaknesses.

Furthermore, surely they could go beyond merely slightly changing the shade of purple to differentiate between a "below average" and an "elite" player...it seems like that kind of jump would warrant a more blatant distinction in coloring.

So I really don't buy this...it seems like a silly thing for a professional football team to actually spend any time creating. Rams or not...
