Monk will not participate in Summer League

He twisted his ankle is draft workouts. Will not play in summer league per the Hornets.

I'd rather he not play anyway. No use risking injury against people who won't be in the league.

yeah, this smells like we don't want to risk anything in the summer league and trust/value him enough already.. no way a twisted ankle would hold him out for 4 weeks..

I remember Frank was going to WORK on kats in the summer league and then we sidelined him with an 'injury' after we saw he was good enough.. no sense in risking anything in meaningless games..

Monk was obviously the headliner but it'll be good to see Weber, Graham, Bacon, and O'Bryant.

Then you have guys like Mathaing, Karnowski who are both intriguing center prospects and could be signed as the Hornets third center for depth purposes.

Saluimon and Devin Williams are also joining us from the Swarm.

And of course the Hornet's Summer League staff's favorite son Gabe York; joins us for what feels like the millionth time.
