No problem with any of this, but what also needs to be understood is when your coach says anything like that about one of his guys, them the media is going to try to make something out of it. Gettleman doesn't need to complain about said media, when his coach gives them the ammo.

KB needs people to call him on his weight.

weight has been an issue for him multiple seasons here coming into camp.  When we drafted him we knew that was something to watch.  Pretty sure he had concerns in college on it too.  

KB doesn't need coaches that try to down play his issue. It is what it is.

Agree on Dave feeding the fire isn't needed. 

But I don't have an issue with Ron on this. Issue is simply KB not taking care of himself.

Why couldn't Ron, you know, NOT have said that.

Nobody asked him "Hey Ron, would you have taken the shot?"  He volunteered that on his own.

How in the living blazes does a statement like that help?  And if it doesn't help, why say it?

I've said in prior threads; KB needs to be called out. He responds to it well, so I don't want Ron to stop calling him out. It works, and Ron really seems to know the right buttons to push to get his players to perform. My only issue is Gettleman complaining about the media. If he's going to complain, then he needs to tell Ron not to bring anything to the media

maybe Ron thought Cam needed to be really called out for his stupidity. 

I mean it wasn't like Cam hadn't been caught in Atlanta before.  So just taken hits being lazy didn't stop it from happening again.  Pretty sure the coaches address that stuff all the time in house too.

still don't get the issue. Cam doesn't need to be coddled. Cam needs to not give himself up to the type hits the league is praying they get on him...

seaosn could of been done that moment. Hell, his career could of.  Hits happen.  That hit didn't have to like that.  No beef with Ron putting the emphasis on it out loud to the world.
