Rivera at #8

Meh, the only thing Rivera has on arians is a SB appearance, but I'd still call arians a better coach. The other two have SB appearances (and rings in Harbaughs case) and definitely would call them better.  I want to like Ron, but poor personnel decisions (coaching staff and players) and the refusal of timid Ron to go away make it hard. He seems like a really good motivator but still learning the other aspects.

That "genius" Arians and his stupid hats decided to tank the last regular season game for what he thought was an advantage...weirdo can suck one.

That's debatable.

Since Reid has been in KC, roughly the same amount of time as Rivera in Carolina, Rivera had done more.

Reid is a good coach and would do well with Carolina.  I don't think with the same squad he would ever do more.

You do know the chiefs were the worst team in the NFL with the number 1 pick in draft before Reid arrived? And since then they haven't had a losing season and have made the playoffs 3 if the 4 seasons in the toughest division in football. And that's with Jamaal Charles, Houston and Hali all missing significant time and captain check down as a QB.

Take your homer goggles off, it's not even close. Reid is a great coach even with no SB.

Toughest division in football?  You're joking right.  Denver was mediocre until Manning showed up, Oakland has the 2nd worst record since their last SB appearance.   San Diego is mediocre at best.   The NFC South has been arguable the toughest division in all of football (yeah they had a couple down years).  I actually ran a post a couple years back that showed from inception of the NFCS to date the NFCS had the best overall record.

I am not arguing Reid isn't a good coach.  I just think Rivera is a better coach in a tougher division.

Dude just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I am a homer.

But you are stuck up Reid ass so I'll back out of this worthless argument with you so you can pie yourself.

Eh Manning arrived in Denver the  season before Reid got their.....

Look at the AFC west record since 2013 and compare it to the NFC south. Then look at their out of division record and compare that also. The West is undoubtedly better.

Only homer would pick Rivera over Reid, so that's exactly what you are doing. Homerism is clouding your judgment badly.

FYI I'm actually one of the few people that has had Rivera's back in this forum. But facts are facts

Once again, your opinion, and like assholes... everyone got one.

Rivera is a better coach and I would choose him over Reid everyday and twice on Sunday.

He has had his lumps and other than loyalty to Shula I like how he runs this team.   I wanted him when he left Chicago and am happy he is here.

Outside of Denver, no one in AFCW has done squat.  KC making the playoffs as a one and done.  Rivera has improved every time he has made the playoffs.

You can't or won't accept it because you are locked in on Reid's balls. The fact is Rivera hasn't hit his ceiling.  Reid has.

Its not opinion when everyone outside this forum would take Reid over Rivera in heart beat. Your just a delusional homer not willing to accept the truth.

If no one the AFCW had done squat then no one in the NFCS hasn't really done jack sh*t. Cause all the numbers and game tape says the AFC west is better, theirs no disputing that.

You are so lost in some fantasy land its pretty funny.

Why cause you say so.  You have no evidence of that, none whatsoever.   Just like your opinion it is full of SHYT.

Rivera>Reid.......

End of Story and End of Discussion (if you call your hatred a discussion)

You're a continual pessimistic on this forum  No reason to stop now.

No cause the article that OP posted says so, cause everyone with an ounce of football knowledge says so. Cause Reid's record says so.

the truth hurts

You haven't been a football fan long, have you. I wouldn't call the AFC West of those days "good" by any stretch.

That is ONE writers opinion not a survey.  Good god dude you are really grasping at straws.

I got one question for you.  During the Span that Rivera has been HC.  How many Coach of the Year awards has Reid won?  NONE you have to go all the way back to 2002 the inaugural year of the 4 Division Conferences to find Reids name. Billicheat 3x and Arians twice and one of them is an *  because he took over for Pagano. Only Rivera has 2.

There is the truth for you.

LMAO coach of the year

Go to any NFL forum and ask who would they rather have, go ask any analyst. You see how you completely avoid the record talk or winning seasons.

One writer huh?

Since 2013? I can see that then.

Those are simple articles.  No basis for a true survey.

You enjoy your opinion.  I'll take Rivera 1000x over Reid.

He's overrated and is like John Fox.  Never gonna get you to the promiseland.  Rivera will.  Watch and see.

Don't reply cause I am not going to read it.

Ciao
