Getting Gordon Hayward should be a priority

Obviously this is all conjecture, as I don't even think we've been linked to Hayward since 2014 (man if only that worked out). Regardless, adding Hayward to the rotation would make us favorites for a top 3 seed in an Eastern conference that could be completely up for grabs next year.

We'd have to sign and trade to get him, and im not sure how quick Utah would be to add Batum or MKG's contract, so it's all very unlikely. But how nasty would a Kemba/Dwight/Hayward combination be??

Either way, we could use a little exciting speculation in what looks like will be a boring free agency period for us.

Yeah it would be a great team that still couldn't compete with Cleveland or Western Conference teams and would have us drafting at the end of the draft. Call me a debbie downer but everyone knows its true. Thats why theres no point in watching the NBA or the Cavs/warriors league

I don't think that the Cavs are THAT good right now, and it seems like they could fall apart soon. That's why I'd go all in for these next couple years, but for the most part you are right.

If we kept batum and get Hayward they could definitely compete with the cavs

I would love Hayward but we don't have the cap room. We would have to trade 2 of the 3 Zeller/MKG/Marvin to have the necessary cap space and that would mean also getting $0 money back which isn't doable.

If anybody who knows more about the cap has a way to make it fit Id love to hear it!

Agreed.  I think the Cavs have one more year at best, the Lebron goes west.  Boston seems to be building towards having a team ready to take over post-Warriors.  That will leave a window of opportunity for whoever wants it.
