Eat: lots of fiber, unsaturated fats and protein

don't eat: saturated fat, sugar, lots of starch devoid of fiber

the trouble with this? Protein from meat tends to come with saturated fat. We're conditioned to like starches that don't have fiber. Sugar is in, like, everything.

If you want to eat healthy, there is no way you can avoid drastically cutting down your meat consumption, if you are an average American.

I'm hoping many people come in this thread and are smart enough to follow what I'm doing. It's worked for far more than just weight loss, ALL my labs have improved and the ONLY issue was a low HDL. One way to fix that? Eat more healthy fats, which I'm doing.

You can base your opinion on decades of flawed and paid for nutritional science if you choose, but I've now spent hundreds of hours researching this and completely satisfied with its safety, effectiveness and sustainability. I regularly consult several doctors and scientists and have their guidance and assistance. This is not new, it's not a fad and it's not going away. I can listed numerous resources, but it doesn't matter because you cling to your platform of ignorance.

Dex- your assertion that fat turns to glucose tells me all I need to know about your knowledge on the matter. Hint, it's called a KETOgenic diet for a reason.

Except much of this has been proven false, especially with respect to saturated fats. You should read up on the role of saturated fats and cholesterol in the body, particularly the brain.

You need saturated fats but in very small quantities.
