it's not a question of success this year--that's a MUST, as has been repeatedly mentioned by Ron and Gman.  The rub comes in next year when opposing D coordinators key in on Shula's simple ass.  The game is won at the top, and with Shula at the helm, the other team will have an advantage.

it wouldn't matter if McCaffery won OROY and Shula had the highest scoring offense in the league...because sooner than later the  bi-polars would  say fug U Shula U should have done it my way...

just look at the way they bash Bevell in Seattle?

I have never played golph (except on the playstsation), but I believe that developing into a great golpher is a better comparison. You have to know which iron to use---when and where---depending upon the circumstances. So, knowing how to use your tools depending upon the stroke you want to make is equally important.

Can we all just stop the Shula hate...the guy is a very good play caller and he needs our support.  If we can all get behind him and as the fans show our support it will give him the confidence to be the best play caller in the league like i know he can....The guy is creative but the players juts have to execute.....

Lets go for an awesome ride we are about to have next season

@rhyslloyd

This april fools day or something?!?

Lol at "very good player caller"

I am buying NFL League Pass and I am going to break down our games possession by possession to show you Shula homers just how inept he is or can be at times.

If we fail to make the post season, this organization is getting rebuilt. I can guarantee Gettleman and Shula will at least get the axe. Rivera may not, but that will be on the next GM. We poo the bed last offseason, and with the investments we put into this offseason, if Kalil doesn't pan out for what we paid and the draft picks are not utilized properly, they are out.

True. On the one hand, I would consider myself a professional student of the ground game he has architected - but on the other hand, I have to wonder about any artist who chooses a pà1ntbrüsh whose strokes are only accurate 52.7% of the time when he has a much better option in his toolkit...

Jeezus....

there's no way ron survives two GMs. ron will go before gettleman does.
