Draft Picks 2010

Flacco adjusted pretty well to the NFL, coming from a spread offense. I definitely do not want The Golden Calf of Bristol, let me make that clear. The big armed qb is overrated (see Russell). Drew Brees and Tom Brady get by very well with slightly above average arm strength. An accurate qb who makes good decisions is the best option as long as one is available by the time we can draft.

yeah..thats easier said than done..every teams wants a accurate QB that makes good decisions..but IMO in this offense were we run and do a lot of play action a guy with a big arm that can throw a deep ball accurate like Flacco would do great here..lot of people want colt but he is way overrated.Pike is a poor mans Flacco minus the big arm.The Golden Calf of Bristol is huge project.Snead has the arm but is not looking good.

The Golden Calf of Bristol might have the fugliest intermediate and deep ball in college football. There is no zip on them, have too much hang time, and they are incredibly wobbly. And this is any attempt he makes that is longer than 10 yards. This is the sign of an average arm.

We aint got poo in the 2010 draft. We're screwed this season. Even if we kept Pep, he is playing to not get hurt, so he's gone. Smitty isn't the WR he used to be, moose is old, Jarret is a baby, Moore is our only hope for a WR. DWill and JStew will get the hell out of here ASAP if they have any brains, and Goodson fumbles too much. OL is looking better, but Gross will leave soon, I'll bet. DL sucks. Secondary is questionable. LB core is kickass as usual, but they will leave if they have any brains. We never use TE's. We're stuck with the second worst QB in the league for the next four seasons. We're gonna have a HUGE upset in the Coaching staff when the fans begin calling for Hurney, Fox, Davidson, and Meeks' heads.

This team is utterly screwed for the next five seasons if they don't pull their poo together and SOON. All around. Not just one or two positions. This team has been shoddy at executing ALL AROUND. If they tighten up, then they'll be set for a decent season. No playoffs, probably. It's too late for that now. But at least leave this season 8-8.

Good intrmidate/long ball at 1:00. Very good throw under pressure at 1:35. Perfect strike at 2:43. At 3:26 makes a good move to avoid the pressure takes off and depletes a FSU DB (I would not want to get in front of that at full speed). I know anyone can look good in a highlight video but I was just showing he can throw the ball. He is a project seeing as he hardly ever throws the ball he will need to be eased into an NFL offense. Thats why you use him as a wildcat QB year 1.

He is so unselfish he knows that the offense they run with the trick plays is ruining his chances of being an early selection as a QB but all he wants is the W. He can throw the ball and hit his target in stride he just isn't asked to do it as much as most QBs. I will give you he has a strange throwing motion but I think that can be tightened up with good coaching.

You can say what you want but the only fault he has in my eyes is he is very unrelenting on his body. He might learn to slide at the next level and get better at avoiding the hit. I doubt it because he cares more about his team then his own health, isn't that refreshing. Sure who wants that on there team.

If by the most unfortunate of chances the Panthers' season ends with them having the worst record in the the NFL, maybe we could close our eyes and use our imaginations and pretend that 33rd overall pick is really the 32nd overall pick.

Seriously, I don't really care what QB the Panthers select, as long as he's not a 'gunslinger' and that accuracy is a strong point. I do have a feeling that a QB won't be taken by this team until after the 3rd round, as usual. I think the Panthers' first pick might be Terrence Cody, DT out of Alabama if he's still available.

The throw at 1:00 and "perfect strike" at 2:43 pretty much proves my point for me...his throws are lofty, have no zip, and way too much loft. 1:35 and 3:26 shows why he should be a fullback or tight end. Your video made my argument for me.

Listen, I get you like the guy, but theres a reason why there is an overwhelming(nearly consensus) opinion that he wont be a QB in the NFL.

A lot of Super Bowls have been won by average QBs that make it up with it by there intangibles. In 2001 Brady won one (before he developed into a HOFer) more on his leadership then on his arm strength. Same defineltly can be said about Brad Johnson the next year. Our own Jake led us from mediocrity to SB contenders with his great leadership skills. Brady one two in a row as a great leader (albeit a great passer as well). Big Ben one hes first more on his leadership and grit then as a passer.

NFL history is riddled with super bowl winning QB's who were average passers but had great leadership skills. Manning is a #1 overall pick is one of the best QB's of all time and he has only 1 SB ring. Marino another all time great O a big goose egg. I'm not saying these guys aren't great leaders but I still don't think they come close to Tebows leadership. His intangibles are off the charts why does anyone think he can't suceed.

Sorry I couldn't sleep without letting that out. Now I can rest in peace.

I like Pike the best so far. I've seen his games the last two weeks and he is extremely accurate, makes good decisions, pretty good long ball. Second in line would be Jake Locker. The guy throws an amazing ball while on the run, pretty accurate, strong arm, I like what i've seen from him so far.

And, hey if he's the only option left... The Golden Calf of Bristol... why not, see what he brings to the table.

the way pike is playing and the attention that he is getting he could end up a top 10 pick. bradford needs to come out. best chance we have of getting pike is bradford coming out in the draft and jaxville taking The Golden Calf of Bristol with their early first rounder.

the draft should go

bradford (1st overall)

mccoy (top 5)

The Golden Calf of Bristol (jaxville)

pike (us...somehow)

if pike gets taken too early then i want hiller to fall to us. probably could get him in the 2nd round.
