So we basically walked away from last year's freeagency with Batum, Marvin and Dwight fuging Howard

God damn cho, I give you poo all the time, but he just saved his career.

Charlotte finally got the semi hot chick in class

Fantastic trade.   In my opinion, with a few other moves, this gets us back into the playoffs and a fun team to watch.   I think Howard will be a bigger scorer here for us than previous years as well, especially with Clifford.

I think at a minimum you have to give the Hornets an A- grade for this deal.  It gets that grade for getting rid of Plumlee's contract alone.  Getting Howard and moving up in the 2nd round is just icing on the cake imo. (maybe more than just icing with Clifford's experience with Howard and our defensive philosophy, tempering expectations, but we'll see)

On the other hand, ATL gets a D at best.  Keeps being reported that this was a salary cap dump for the Hawks.......but they are taking on Plumlee's contract?  What am I missing here?  Actually, who cares, it's Atlanta, haha

I see ya Cho!

I don't know how anybody can see this as a negative:

1. GOT RID OF PLUMLEE!!!!!!

2. Moved up 10 spots in the 2nd round

3. Marco played well at times, but is replaceable.

4. Got a decent rotational player who can play the defensive end.

Good job Cho!

Now for the draft, I really want to find a way to get Monk. I know he is a small 2 guard but I want his shooting. I am still not 100% sold on Kennard, would probably prefer Mitchell.

If it's a salary dump, it's the dumbest salary dump ever.  Combined we'll spend 48 mill, while the Hawks spend 46.  It's stupid.

    • PFF made it up just to make Bryce look better. Crazy right? Also I can’t believe you said he played “better.” Careful and you might let a compliment slip…. (kidding)

Bryce had to air mail it out of the back of the end zone so that there was still time to attempt a field goal before halftime. I've included the other angle as I was confident that some would try to hyperfocus on this play as why PFF was wrong in their evaluation.
