yeah he signed his name on something that contradicts his twitter

seems like he's a conflicted individual

You really don't get this, do you.

I'm surprised you're still pushing it after embarrassing yourself so much. QBR is just a numbers based stat that doesn't account for everything, as Fahey already said. It's not the best tool to determine accuracy.

like saca you're not the only person that knows what the FO almanac is

do you not understand the conflict between one of its writers arguing against the conclusions of FO's keystone metric?

do you not think dvor and dyar takes passing within quadrants into effects? they do in fact and if anyone wants to post their 2016 IM PRETTY SURE CAM IS TRASH WITHIN FIFTEEN YARDS

so since you still haven't said im going to assume that accuracy is a way to say that the ball was put in a good place just the receiver didn't pull it in, or the ted ginn effect. i would love to see his charting on this, because i refuse to believe Cam is an accurate passer. I've seen every pass he's ever made, both in college and the pros, and he's not some accurate passer.

You're lying to yourself if you believe otherwise.

Another metric for accuracy that you could compare across the league would be accuracy on short passes. meaning Cam was leading players so they could do stuff after the catch, not have to stop and make a miracle play on the ball like steve smith in the delhomme era.

Just a quick pull from 2015...

From the website that employs the person you keep posting, Cam was behind..blaine gabbert and jay cutler.

Yeah not gonna argue with someone who's a complete idiot. You were already debunked a while ago, and nothing you're saying right now makes any sense.

Already debunked your QBR as something that doesn't take the context of everything to determine accuracy. Here is Fahey talking about QBR as it is - misrepresenting the true meaning of accuracy:

It's good to use as a base or starting point in terms of raw statistics, but most analysts understand using it as your main argument for a QB's accuracy lacks context and substance.

And now for this gem:

Bahahahahahaha.

Jesus why is he so inaccurate.

Man any QB can do this

For further thoughts about Cam, go check these three twitter threads out. I think he's more accurate than you realize.

cam threw 510 passes last year. im not impressed by 5 gifs you've found

you can't simultaneously suck your own dick about statistics based football while posting @marxistpanther twitter threads where he cherry picks gifs.

some rando stating something definitively on twitter does not make it any more valid than any random person on the street

if you want to come with actual evidence that cam is good within 15 yards, and not just some undefined "accuracy" stat from a guy that works for a website that reached the opposite conclusion, be my guest.

i watched last season, mostly in person. i dont need autism twitter to find me gifs of a handful of his good throws.

cam has his strengths. throwing inside 15 yards isn't one of them.

So, Electro, who by the way has a very offensive name (those of you who have been here a few years will understand),

has hijacked this thread and is trashing this team.

My question is...why are you here?

Because currently all gay Russian modeling gigs are filled.

I have no dog is this fight but a handful of .gifs are not proof of anything.  I can hit some three pointers and you can show a video of only the ones I make but that doesn't change reality.

I got about 30 saved right now, but that would take a while. So I linked to twitter threads that show a lot more.

Here's his segment on that:

Quote

Adjusted Yards per Attempt is a measurement that already exists on Pro Football Reference. It is a statistical measurement that has been adjusted to include touchdowns and turnovers. The Adjusted Yards per Attempt in the blow column has been created by adding the yardage lost to receiver error and by subtracting the yards created by receivers on inaccurate throws. Matt Ryan’s receivers led the league in created yards but he still averaged almost a full yard more than second-placed Andrew Luck. Ryan’s actual yards per attempt was 9.43 so he did lose more than he gained in the adjustment. The futility of Luck’s receivers allowed him to leap up from 7.78 to 8.43. Cam Newton was by far the biggest loser because of his receivers last year. His yards per attempt ranked 24th in the league but his adjusted yards per attempt ranked third. Only Aaron Rodgers was really in the same stratosphere when it came to lost yards per attempt. No matter how many adjustments you make for Jared Goff he’s going to be the anchor on these lists.

Saca should make an article thread about Cam's short throw accuracy. God knows we got 5 more weeks of this poo

And it doesnt help almost all of Cam's highlight videos on youtube most of these are long throws especially from last season's highlights

Well considering nearly all our plays are deep passes, it's occasionally hard to find short passes.

I'll see about that.
