But why in the hell do the players wear long sleeves, hoodies, sweat shirts, long pants, etc.... when you can cook eggs on sidewalks?

I have never understood this.  Is it to sweat more?  Get acclimated to the heat getting ready for TC?

Just makes no damn sense.

Man, I alwaysss think about this exact thing.  Especially with Olsen always wearing a damn toboggan no matter how hot it is.  $hit makes my forehead start perspiring just looking at a picture/seeing it on TV.

A two down back?  That's pretty terrible.  That's saying he's good for two downs and that's it.  He's going to be much better than that.

How many 3 down backs are there in the NFL?  I'd say less than half of the starters are 3 down backs.

Again, didn't say shitty or terrible, he just doesn't strike me as a 3 down back.

Olsen wearing a beanie, Cam and Capt. in sweatshirts, many with long sleeve black shirts.....I'm confused.

It's plenty warm to not get tight out there after stretching.

Well, Thor is getting a little thin up top. He needs to find a cooler(temperature-wise) way to cover it up.
He needs to consult Brett Michaels and discuss the pros and cons of the do-rag.

Yeah, it's odd for sure, but I wonder if the long sleeves are to help with the sweat wicking?  Some of this new sports gear is pretty amazing in helping one feel dry even when sweating rivers....

Reminds me a little of OBJ's Miami cruise last season....all of them wearing boots and jeans on a boat in Miami.

Just weird man, it's hot as hell out here right now.

He's built to be that.  I honestly think he'll be better than McCaffrey as well (once he gets out of J-Ville).  The hype around McCaffrey right now is absurd.

Been wondering the same thing.

Probably a bit of both. Heat helps keeps muscles loose, it will also help them adjust to higher temps faster. It's also great for weight cutting, wrestlers do it all the time in high school and college.

That sounds dangerous.

It can be if not done properly. Back in High School guys could easily lose several pounds in water weight during a normal practice just from sweat. Athletes just need to be aware of their body and it's limits and know when they are pushing it too far.

LF is not built to be a 3 down back.  He will likely be one of the heaviest starters in the NFL, and we have no clue yet if he can catch or pass protect.

He may well end up being "better than McCaffrey", but I don't think for a second that he would be more valuable that CmC will be to this team.

McCaffrey is exactly what this team needed during the Super Bowl, not another banger.  That's how I'm looking at this.

Oh Fournette's built in style and stature for the 90s/00s. McCaffrey's built in style and stature for 2020 and beyond. Fournette would've been a hard fit for our zone scheme, as he needs a downhill runway to be effective.

The Jags actually are better suited for that scheme, so I don't think he'll be half bad there. Would be a bad fit with the Panthers.
