luck has always only been better in regards to what people believe as potential.

No other QB has ever had the amount of excuses made while given more tools than any other QB in his first few years.

he was given everything he needs to ensure his success by a franchise who was used to giving their QB all the tools they need to be successful. he landed in/inherited an incredibly bad division that the colts had dominated for over a decade but he has done nothing but been mediocre.

the only thing that he has accomplished is giving cause for more people to make excuses.

and yes, this is being said by someone who once wanted luck here and who thought he had what it took one of the best QBs in the game. i was wrong. so has everyone else been about luck who believed in his potential. he just doesn't have what it takes to win. he can't prop a team on his back and take them to the playoffs the way his predecessor did or that cam does now.

yes, cam is a better football player, but the assertion that luck is a better QB is baseless. luck has nothing to show for all the potential he was believed to have.

I won't poo on Luck as he's still a damn good QB, but I've said for years now that the best thing that ever happened to this franchise was Andrew Luck going back to Stanford.

Look football is the ultimate team sport and your quarterback is only as good as his supporting cast and his ability to make those around him better. Cam is going to have the better season just as the Panthers are the better team. Talking about individuals without talking about the teams is really a waste of time and effort.

Higher winning percentage, on track for more touchdowns(numbers would be better if he wasn't made of paper), higher QBR, higher completion percentage. Make every argument you want for his division being weaker but the stats are in Lucks favor. If you ask both QBs to drop back and throw 30 times a game then Andrew Luck is the QB you want. Cam Newton is a better football player. He's more durable, more versatile and more explosive. If you're building a complete offense then he's the guy you want. But Luck, purely as a passer(which is how QB greatness is typically measured), is better than Cam. Cam is a better weapon for sure though.

tbh, Wilson has the best chance to be the "rivalry" the networks are looking for. That probably wont happen either.

Cam is not a bad passer..luck has just as many interceptions than Cam has. Cam can make all throws just like Luck.  Newton is not as strong are short throws that need a little air but it is not to say he can not make those throws... I say they are almost neck and neck in that regard but newton is better because of the it factor just being a baller.  I like Luck, but to say he os a better Qb and Cam is just a player is not correct because Cam can do everything Luck can do and some things better.
