Greg Olsen wants to restructure his contract

So here is how this all went down.

Greg hosts a make a wish kid. Typically, when that happens the player doing the hosting speaks with the media afterwards to discuss it. Unfortunately, feel good stories don't generate a buzz. So someone asked Greg about his contract instead which made it bit of an awkward moment. So Greg doesn't complain about his contract, instead just talks up his production.

Olsen has attended every voluntary workout. Now all of a sudden he may skip mandatory workouts? What madness is this?

The truth is Greg isn't thrilled about seeing other TE's in his category make more than he is, none of us would be. I suspect he is gently nudging Gettleman for a Ryan Kalil type core player extension, and he will likely get it in a cap friendly way that is mutually beneficial.

yeah, really weird. Nobody on this team deserves a raise more than Olsen. He shouldn't even have to site production. But hey, this has been one of the more smoother offseasons recently, so, really can't blame him.

no correlations.

Oher has to go along with Dickson for that little extra cap space needed.

Panthers should have drafted TE Hunter Henry instead of Butler or one this year

DG better not screw this up, his ego needs to be kept in line.

Common sense, honestly.

He's a more athletic Jason Witten, which is friggin dangerous as hell because of how consistent he gets open.

That's a hell of a compliment Witten and Greg have both been good for a long time. whether or not someone considers him "dominant" is just semantics.

FWIW, If I'm picking teams on the playground and Gronk and Olsen are both there...I'm picking Greg.

True and fair enough.

But if it's a one off game and Gronk is healthy, I'm picking Gronk.

    • i felt good for those few games that bryce didn't look like the worst in the league. all that fell apart again sunday.  i'm borderline just bailing on it all. i've been hanging on by a thin thread for several years. i mean it's not even fun to watch any football right now.
