Even if the Panthers want him to return, their lawyers are telling them to say exactly that.

I agree with most of the posters in this thread, he's showing up because it's in his contract and I doubt he plays a down of football this year.  It's possible he could return after a full year away from football, but I think he gets an injury settlement and retires.

I hope he retires. I don't think I've seen a player often have concussion symptoms this long. I hope he gets better either outcome though.
