Doesn't mean he participates but I'm curious to see what unfolds. I'm still on the side of the fence that he may be done with football until I'm proven otherwise.

I'd be more concerned for his health if he DIDN'T show up.

I'm just ready to know his situation 100% so we all can move forward.  I'm in agreement with most everyone else that he appears to be done and an injury settlement is coming.  I'd be very surprised if anything other than that happened at this point.

Everyone knows about that IG post. It's already out there. But I agree....hard to imagine him lining up this season after that.

Completely agree. I just can't see him playing after being sidelined for such an extended period of time due to a head injury. Just doesn't look good :/

From what I've read, he's in in Nashville training and has had little contact with the Panthers, save for a conversation with Gman this spring.  I'd say he's getting tested by doctors today, but if he's still on 154 different meds this long after the initial injury, he'd better be hanging it up.

If he was training and preparing to play I don't think the Panthers would be repeatedly putting out a message that they're only concerned with his health and not football. Seems like there's a deeper message in those statements.

Given the intense media scrutiny in recent years on head injuries, particularly in football, I wouldn't expect the Panthers to be publicly saying anything other than that they're only concerned about Oher's health.

But, I think the signing of Kalil plus drafting an OT in the 2nd speaks much louder.

I don't feel this will clear up anytime soon. 

As much as i was cheering for Oher when we originally attained him,  I can't imagine the Panthers taking any risk with Oher's health.

Oher is not playing another snap in the NFL. He's showing up because his contract says he has to. Before the season starts he will negotiate an injury/retirement settlement.
