Christian McCaffrey's "Not Doing Anything Fun" During His Time Away From The Panthers; Working Extra Hard To Be Ready

Like I've said since right after the draft, we picked some real football players this year. Not super freak athletes who just happened to play football, but real genuine passion for the game football players.

These are the kinds of players that have he drive to succeed at this level. If you get the NFL, everyone is a freak of nature to a certain degree. The love of the game and true dedication to the craft is what separates HOF guys from dudes out of the league in 3 years.

I give the staff and Rivera major props for cultivating this type of atmosphere and locker room. But, it's time to start consistently winning, we have enough pieces to be a 10+ win team consistently for the next 5 years.

Witness if you will, the 2035 Carolina Panthers coaching staff.  HC Luke Kuechly and OC Christian McCafferey, two of the most highly decorated players in NFL history trying to return their beloved franchise to the glory days when the Panthers won 3 Super Bowls in a row and 5 world titles in 7 years.  With Chosen Newton as the heir apparent at QB, the future looks bright...

All kidding aside, we all know down deep this kid is going to change everything.  He is the key...the Trinity is complete.

Wow. I'm pretty disappointed that you forgot Thomas Davis has moved into the DC position for the team at this point ;)

Speed of the NFL game is alot different than college , he's not going to be outjuking and outrunning dudes as much. All I can say is hope for the best and hope he gets  a good number of snaps in our first few games to really see if his skills translate to the pro level.

I was thinking this too, but tackling and wrapping is actually more consistent at the college level than the NFL, where everyone goes for big hits.  So who knows?

Also, there's some old dudes out there on the field here and there that just don't have that burst anymore to close the gaps on a player like CMC.

Well, I wonder what Rockies game he went to?! I've seen the Cubs, Mariners and Nationals so far this season.

Panthers and Blue Jays fan living in Denver... Used to have a site literally a street down from the McCaffrey's house in Castle Pines, CO...
