Dislocated his hip for the 3rd time.  I can't imagine that he will ever play again, and honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if he needs a hip replacement.

Yeah, I'd say he's done.  There just aren't many players that have the capability to do what Thomas Davis' managed to.  Is still one of the craziest things I've ever heard of.

(I know it's a different injury, just making the analogy b/c it's the 3rd time he's dislocated his hip)

After what TD went through, it's hard to count any player out. Even so, that was an ACL versus a hip. I can't see how he could even pass a physical and for his sake, he should just retire.
