Ted Ginn Jr.

Like others, Brees provides good hope for a solid season from Ginn, and as a fan while he was here, he can, and will frustrate the fan base with his inconsistency, and he's only getting older, he is, what he is...a big play, or a big drop waiting to happen.

    • The first pick should be BPA, and tbh drafting 5-8 there are plenty of options. I feel a WR would be best, but will “the guy” be there? We neglected the defense somewhat, and I feel the lack of depth showed. I see a plethora of options available later that would be worth a trade down, and if they are enamored with the prospect, I feel only maybe 5 would be a top choice in our expected draft range. I’d love any of Mason Graham, Will Johnson, or Abdul Carter, if and only if they fit the system and need. If they see value trading down and TMac isn’t there, a later round pick of Isaiah Bond and another 2nd round pick would be ideal.
    • They don't want to play because they have nothing to gain and everything to lose. They're in the exact same spot as ND without the brand name. They've played a soft schedule and have one win over a ranked team but unlike ND their one loss is actually to a decent top 20 team.  SMU's resume is every bit as strong as ND's but ND is sitting very comfortably at #4 probably looking at a first round bye while SMU is probably playing for their playoff lives. It's fuged up. They really need to force ND into a conference if they want to be eligible for the playoffs.
    • Top target this off season should be any receiver that can catch the ball consistently and make guys miss in space. I'm tired of watching other games where WRs catch the ball less than 10 yards downfield and then turn it into 50 yards gains. Big plays aren't always bomb passes 50+ yards deep in the NFL. Long runs and YAC are necessary to stack numbers and wins. It doesn't have to be McClaurin or Saquon level, but dang. Adam Thielen is the Panthers' most exciting offensive weapon ya'll. He's a possession guy on every other team, meaning the 3rd or 4th option. Speed scares DBs alot more than strong arms.
