Ted Ginn Jr.

Recommended Posts

Like others, Brees provides good hope for a solid season from Ginn, and as a fan while he was here, he can, and will frustrate the fan base with his inconsistency, and he's only getting older, he is, what he is...a big play, or a big drop waiting to happen.

    • Look at the 3rd play by Moss in this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2nImaSkXME&ab_channel=NFL So sure, did Moss sometimes body-catch?  Yeah.  But he also used his hands extremely well.  That is why I don't get why he's being brought up.  Legette almost exclusively body-catches, it isn't the same thing.   Ultimately every WR is going to have to body-catch at some point.  It happens.  But you also have to be able to go up and get it with your hands.  Moss could do that when he needed to.  Legette hasn't shown that he can.
    • One of the biggest differences I see in him now is the ability to move up into the pocket in the face of pressure and quickly process/see an "NFL open" receiver.  He may have seen them before, but he was cautious to throw.  Now he just let's it fly.   Something just clicked or perhaps watching Andy take those shots encouraged him to go out there and rip. The best descriptor of where I'm at with him and the team is "encouraged" and that's a great feeling for a change.
    • is it just me or does every player hurt on this team sit out the absolute maximum number of games  glad we’re so player friendly but maybe, you know, we win that game if a guy who has built a reputation as an elite defender against the run on the edge is out there    edit: it’s not my leg, I get it. I’m just frustrated.
