Ted Ginn Jr.

Recommended Posts

Like others, Brees provides good hope for a solid season from Ginn, and as a fan while he was here, he can, and will frustrate the fan base with his inconsistency, and he's only getting older, he is, what he is...a big play, or a big drop waiting to happen.

    • Doesn't Bryce's receivers have some of the least separation in the league and he's throwing in tight windows on like many plays?  I get that his "fantasy" stats aren't amazing but you can watch him and see things are moving forward for him.  The game has slowed down.  And the way he plays at the end of the game is big.  If Sanders doesn't stop running in the first quarter, that's a big gain and a TD probably.  XL dropped a pass.  Theilen was robbed of a TD the week before.  If we're going to talk about "stats" then yeah, those should be on the sheet. But watching him out there, he's a gamer right now.  He just needs his boys to catch passes and get open more.  At least we have a good offensive line this year.  Get more reliable receivers that can catch and stop drafting projects and we'll see how he does.
    • This needed to get done yesterday. I think we're probably flailing and in scramble mode.
    • I hate to find myself rooting on the offseason again, and I am looking forward to watching us these last few weeks. That said, we are effectively out of contention.    I am very interested to see where we spend money, and where we spend draft capital. We get 95 back, but DT has been a massive weakness for us this year, especially in the run game. We also have hurt at edge, but when some guys got healthy, we we've been better there, but not great. I think linebackers and secondary have overperformed, but Mike Jackson, Xavier Woods, and Jordan Fuller are Free Agents. I'm not sure I'd resign any of them, and definitely not for big money. If they want to play on team friendly deals, let's go.  On offense, the line has been really good, with Center being a glaring weakness. We could really stand to add in the RB room, the TE room and the receiver room. Lots of needs, but a good o-line can hide a lot of ugly.
