i mean there is anything and coke type "cocktail" or mix drinks and there are craft cocktails that arent super sweet and have amazing balance. but straight is better than the anything and coke type mixed drink.

If I start in the daytime I'll usually stick to the clean stuff for the remainder of the day.

Tito's & Soda with Lemon or Lime is a staple.

If I begin drinking at night, it's usually something like Hennessy or Basil Hayden neat.  If I'm feeling fancy that night I'll reach for some Chambord & Soda.  If I'm having a really good meal I'll probably do some wine and leave it at that.
