Coaching is why Jarrett shows bust

With a player like Jarrett who came into the league with a selfish attitude, it should take alot more effort then what fox and company are doing. My example is Vernon Davis number 10 overall pick I believe about 3 yrs back has shown truly nothing up until the end of last season and beginning of this season. Everyone wrote him off just like Jarrett and he just stoped seeing the field, until a man named Mike singeltary pulled him from the game and sent him to the locker room and said after the game "I would rather have 10 guys out there then someone of his attitude." A complete callout! He didnt bring in a vet to mentor him none of that bs he called him out and basically said were better with no one out there then with you in there. That fuels a player with his type of mindset and vernon said it himself he credited everything hes done as of late to Mike, he said "its about the team now where as before it was just about me." This is why I hope Jarrett doesnt get released because tough love like this can truly bring a player like Jarrett around and it has to come from the coaches not the players. It just shows what good coaching can do, and we dont have it...

...i refuse to believe the guy is that stupid, if he is, the idiot that said we need him should have been shot. I think the guy can catch and play. How many times did Moose get a free pass on his rediculous amounts of fumbles and dropped wide ass open TD's. You mean we cant design any plays that key off of his strengths? Here we have a roster position that is not producing for whatever reason. We dont have the luxury of squandering on a 53 man roster.

This offense is archaic, passe and complacent which seems to be an extention of the coaching phylosophy. With the exception of Delhomme we have soo many weapons on offense we dont know which one to use when. It just makes me sick. Delhomme running the offense is like grandma drivin the Vet on sunday afternoon.

03-Walter Young-WR-Illinois (7th rd)

04-Keary Colber-WR-USC- (2nd rd)

04-Drew Carter-WR-Ohio State- (5th rd)

07-Dwayne Jarrett-WR-USC- (2nd rd)

07-Ryne Robinson-WR-Miami(OH) (4th rd)

There ya go.......all drafted WR's by the Panthers.

I'm still waiting......and this tell me who left an went elsewhere argument if you want, but there is your list. How many were developed, and how many just had it to start with?????

This doesn't include FA pickups etc, etc....;)

You continue to use Moose, and Smitty, which I already gave you the reason for their success.....so stop. There is your list.....what was developed with this organization?

Quite a list.

I think we could have made better choices, you can't develop what isn't there.

Steve Smith (Giants) is the 2nd leading receiver in the NFL this year and already has another TD catch today. Hurney could have easily selected him instaed of Jarrett. Or would we have fugged him up as a receiver as well?

EDIT: Correction, Steve Smith now has 2 TD's today.

I guess in your eyes, Jake completes every pass hunhh??

No. But thanks for this walk down a fairly irrelevant topic for no reason.

At any rate, Jarrett's hands aren't that good. Someone said better hands than Smitty?

You know, the guy who won the triple crown.

So, no. Not better hands than Smith.

He doesn't get open. I can't say this enough. He doesn't get open. No one else is going to coax him into getting open.

I never said a word about Jarrett being anything.....but whatever man.

Looking for an argument it appears.....but you won't get that here.

only the first part was directed at you, and you decided to bring some Jake Delhomme stuff to me. Which was irrelevant to this discussion, so clearly you're the one trying to bring something that's not there. Nice try.

Jake Irrelevant......ok. May as well be the way he has played, but in so many ways he IS relevant whether you like it or not.

you taking a dig at me about Jake Delhomme and saying I think all his passes are completed?

makes no sense, has no relevance, and now you're trying to push some point after pretending you didn't want an argument. Make a point or move on.
