Coaching is why Jarrett shows bust

Look at list of WR's drafted above, not just in the Fox era, but for the entirety of this organization. Part of my point.

We actually had a couple of really good WR's that produced a WHOLE lot better that were drafted before Fox got here. We've had NOTHING since he got here. He hasn't drafted jack poo along the lines of a WR that can produce.

Even if we did.....they couldn't coach them to play, or they wouldn't be included in the play book....PERIOD!

:cheers2:

We drafted all of 2 receivers in the first 3 rounds under Fox. One was a bust with questionable ability and motivation. The other one is still here with questionable skills, speed and motivation. I see a pattern that isn't related to coaching. Plus Jarrett isn't done so the list is one guy. You continue to make a big deal about one bust. If you had talked about drafting that is a very differnt issue that has been discussed ad nauseum. What new insight do you have or just the same reheated comments.

If you keep morphing the discussion eventually you will be right about something.

One again your post is convoluted and shotgun style with liitle substance or relevance. Of the ones you mentioned the only one that were drafted by Fox in the first 3 rounds that were busts were Colbert. Jarrett is looking that way as well but it is pretty common knowledge that most receiver take 3 years to develop.

And both Colbert and Jarrett have well documents issues with lack of motivation.

You take the point how you want, and take all the jabs you want. The fact of the matter is that Fox only has 2 WR's that have produced, and he drafted neither of them, nor developed them. They were good from day one. Say what you want on that.

Lack of motivation........WOW..now there's a concept a coach has nothing to do with. Time after time after time....doesn't seem like a player problem to me. A good coach would coach them up, or have sense enough to move them on down the line.

You are becoming the most enormous Fox nuthugger I have ever seen.

Head Coach....means head coach.....remember that. JR gave him that title for a reason, and he needs to start being that.

Go try and bullsh1t someone else, but you aren't selling any vacuum cleaners here.......sorry.

I'm pretty sure Fox isn't 100% responsible for drafting WRs. I know we got a new head of college scouting a few years back. The drafts overall have been much improved since then but even the recent WR picks have been bad. Although we don't really have much to go on yet with only Jarrett and Ryne Robinson (whose really more of a STer).

Every one knows that everything is Fox's fault. C'mon now.

Jarrett has been bad so far but that is more by his own doing that any one else's. Robinson was never drafted to be more that a returner as you note. Failing to return to form based on a knee injury is why he is gone not because he didn't have potential or a bad draft choice.

One more thing 55....how many WR's has Fox drafted in his regime that are producing, and have ever produced?

/thread

How many have been drafted in the first 3 rounds as a receiver? Colbert and Jarrett. One is here still and one is a bust Not much of a history to draw any conclusions. And it speaks to the draft not coaching whih is the point of this thread. And we have already detained the draft which is more about pre and post Softi than Fox.

How is this related to the topic. And where is your list??????

I gave you the list, it is related because you keep talking about it, and asking for it.

Why you keep asking for 2 that have gone on to success with other teams is beyond me. If you are as smart as you pretend, you can look at the drafts,(plus ALL draft pick list I provided above), and look at this team, and know that isn't a possibility.

So quit being stupid, and acting like you are the GODALMIGHTYKNOWITALL about this organiztion.

Who gives a poo what round they were drafted in???? Sorry..didn't know I had to play by 55's draft round rules!

Nuthuggingcity is growing! :D

I keep asking because the point of the thread is that coaching or Fox is responsible for not developing our receivers. THe draft over our 15 years of existance has nothing to do with it. Are you really that thick or are you so enamored with the post you can't see that it si totally unrelated to the point of this thread.

And of course the round you are drafted in relates to your potential and ultimate chance for success.

Are you really that dense or does your brain just shut off after midnight??

Is that the best you got in the insult department?

No wonder you haven't a clue as to WHY WE CAN NOT DEVELOP A RECEIVER!

PRE FOX, DURING FOX, etc....just hasn't been done. What about that can you not understand?

Oh I get it......Fox balls on the brain after midnight causes dillusions. Gotcha!

I never expected the insults from you, as I have respected your post over the years.....but you have no respect from me from this point forward.

You are just the same average JOE, that want's to resort to insults when things don't go your way little boy on the playground. Take your toys and go home please......I have nothing to offer you anymore as you will only trash it, abuse it, call it names instead coming through with what you ask of me.

You can't, you fail...and it pisses you off....and I LOVE IT!

The point is you made it personal and insulted me as well. Don't pretend to be taking the high road. And as you say i don't usually make personal comments and I did to you, you can assume you pushed some buttons of your own.

And it makes no sense to complain about personal attacks and then do it yourself. Smacks of hypocricy.

I will end this because it is going nowhere and does belittle my body of work.

In the end it isn't personal to me even if I make comments. it is a message board not something critical or that important. Lighten up a little.
