Cam scrambling

I think I saw it on here last year, it was the number of times cam took off and scrambled (not a designed run). I am having troubles finding it, anyone know the number of times he took off?

Depends what you count as a scramble...hopefully not that bullshit against the Chiefs where he slid a few yards from the 1st and there was nobody near him....

I'd love for Cam to get back to scrambling. I think we call so many designed runs for him that when we do call a pass he's bound and determined to throw the ball. These days when he scrambles it's as if he's scrambling with virtually no desire to take off down the field but only to buy more time to throw. I love the fact that he's going through his progressions but getting baco to tucking that thing and taking off as a runner on a passing play will only make him that more dangerous as a QB and our offense that much harder to stop.

I mean where he goes through his progressions and doesn't like what he sees so he takes off. Not designed read options or qb draws etc.

I woul too, I was just wondering because the last couple of months analyst have said that he looks at his primary and if he's not open he takes off. I could have sworn he barely does any out of pocket scrambles.

He was so good at it in 2011 & 2013 hopefully those lanes opens up with the additon of new weapons

As long as the refs allow head shots anytime he takes off I think his running days are over. He is too valuable to allow open season on him.

Hell, he takes more head shots in the pocket - where a QB is supposed to the protected the most- than he does when running.
