J-Stew not concerned about losing carries to CMC

In an organization full of egotistical prima donna's, allow me to say it is a pleasure to have an underrated veteran like this guy on our team.

He sees the bigger picture.

I sincerely hope this man gets his ring.

Stewart's got some wise words:

"Stop talking about that. Who cares?" Stewart said Tuesday to ESPN.com on whether first-rounder Christian McCaffrey might see more touches. "We want to win the Super Bowl, right? That's the bottom line. It's not about people getting carries. It's not about people getting catches or touchdowns."

"It's about what can you contribute to get us to the Super Bowl."

This is the same guy who had, for all intents and purposes from an outsider's point of view, split carries with Dwill for years, and didn't have an issue. Why would he care about some rookie coming in to help ease the load?

It helps his career longevity even more than he's had so far, and it allows him to have days where if some things don't click, we can still gain yardage. This is another media non-issue, that I'm glad he's taking in stride.

That right there is why the Patriots win consistently. The people they bring in all have this same attitude and it looks like the Panthers are starting to develop that in their locker room. Stewart was like this from day one though.

They compliment each other a lot, we will see more of  the 2 back formation.

Draft a big bruiser next year to replace JStew after he is done. LJ Scott maybe in the 4th round?

Draft Mike Gesicki in the 1st to pair up and learn from Thor next year and watch this offense be dominant for years.

This offense is going to be the next Greatest Show on Turf 2.0

I feel like Stew is under appreciated league wide. With no line the dude still gets positive yards and rarely reaches the second level of the D without contact. He gets hit in the backfield sometimes and still gets positive ground. Him and Cmc are going to make one heck of a backfield.

So who exactly was J-Stew talking to when he said this and what was the exact question, I wonder? This is kind of weird that NFL.com is quoting an answer to a question that is not even included, is it not?

On Reddit they were saying David Newton asked the question, which doesn't surprise me at all.

Ugh...Honestly though, that probably won't be the last time somebody asks that question but Newton should know damn well that J-Stew is fine with sharing the load.
