He cleared waivers. Tampa, Denver, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Pittsburg, and Carolina all gave him offers for their practice squad. Turned down more money to be at Carolina. He seems like a good project and the vibe behind the scenes must be good for him to want to stay here not go back to Pitt (where they were high on him from what I hear).

i agree i really like our PS this year..Evans and Harris had great camps with other teams
