Because a sample was taken that included a group that was approximately 20% normal, 20% team-oriented, 20% mentally challenged, 20% so baked they forgot what they were doing and 20% to get on the NFL Network top 100 show.

I think most other players realize last season was a result of the OL and injuries to Cam. The guy was MVP just a season ago and is still relatively young. There's no reason he shouldn't be in the Top-100.

I would take Cam over every QB except Rodgers, but he' doesn't deserve to be any where close to 44

Whoever produces these videos clearly isn't a big fan of Cam.

Last year even at number one, the video focused on touchdown celebrations instead of Cam's MVP-level play. This year the video starts with some guy talking about how far he's fallen in the rankings, then moves on to how hard he is to tackle and his postgame attire.

Whatever you want to take away from these rankings, here's the most important: Cam Newton is well respected in the NFL.  I did everything he could, but getting destroyed on a week to week basis, having to be super accurate all the time; and having to take all the blame for a loss is hard.  The NFL respects him there.

I think that 2016 needs to be put to bed.  Sadly, that won't happen until we start winning.  If there are some hiccups in the first few weeks, all we'll hear about is the end of Cam and the Panthers.  Al Davis was absolutely correct: Just win Baby.  Winning makes everyone look like geniuses.
