Nothing Happening Between Colin Kaepernick And Seahawks So Far...

Just leaving it here as it is:

Just to clarify for the fact this QB hasn't signed with any team, and is currently unemployed for a supposed insanely good starter. The mere arguments some of you guys make for him as if this is due to politics is laughable. Just simply accept the fact the NFL considers him as a backup quality QB at best, and not the superstar starter some of you over-hyped him as.

Discuss. And try to keep it relevant and civil in here.

Ive never considered him a solid starter

when he was doing well, it was due to a phenom defense, fantastic Oline and running game, and a fantastic Head coach. Whrn he was getting all that hype it ate me alive because i could understand his success was due to much more than him actually being good.

Below average passer with running ability made a nice wrinkle in an offense and team as a whole that was primed for someone to just be decent to win games.

Reminds me a lot like Prescott with a phenom oline and run gsme where he can live off playaction. Cant wait fir that nuclear bomb to be dropped when he has a slump

Do I consider Kaep a superstar? Hardly. That's why I had a feeling he'd be in this situation from the start. Whether it's domestic violence, politics or whatnot, having enough talent can make teams overlook it. Otherwise, you're a hot potato and teams will stay away.

Actually, I believe he was a very good QB.  In my opinion he has fallen into the 'I'm great and wonderful' syndrome and he's let it go to his head.  People just turned away from him.  It's all about his pissy attitude.

He had one good year and then defenses figured out that he can only read half the field, if that. He's a one read, take off kind of QB, nothing like Cam or Wilson who can go through their progressions like a real NFL QB should. The NFL caught up to his limitations. He is an athlete, no doubt about it, but he isn't a good QB.

It's funny. I've always thought Kaep was poo. Can't read a field. Poor decision making. Basically just a RB at QB. Plus he's always been an asshole. But if you think that now, then apparently it means you don't have any "valid football reasons". Yeah, eat a dick.

In a world where Glennon got $45m, Kaep is definitely worth a roster spot.

Glennon was actually pretty decent when he was a starter and should've been given a better shot to start after the Bucs drafted Jamies. I think Denver would've been great for him a couple seasons ago. I kind of feel bad for him because he goes to the Bears expecting to be a starter, but now has to look over his shoulder yet again. If Mitch does end up winning the starting QB role, learning from Glennon could be much more beneficial than learning anything from Kaep.

People underestimate how important attitude is. Kaep has been a dick his whole career.
