Good stuff Fredlane, thanks for posting.

Yes talk is just talk...I get that. People can call it Oprah or Dr Phil or Hallmark or whatever they want...but if this team was fractured and infighting they would have ZERO hope of turning anything around. Glad to hear that a very respected and honest player is saying this.

At some point, talk has to stop and production has to begin.

Do you honestly think, with the upcoming schedule, that they are going to 'turn-it-around'. My opinion, guess it depends what the definition is of 'turn-it-around' is.

They have 4 winnable games on their schedule (WAS, Miami, and 2 against Tampa)

Their best hope is the other team 'picks a bad day to have a bad day'

Fox's MO is also notoriously bad against the NFC East in regular season and I'm willing to bet the coaches in the AFC East are a whole lot better prepared for him then he will be for them.

I'll say this, if that team goes out after its bye week and its collective group hug and plays miserably at home and lets the pitiful Redskins walk over them, Fox and Company are toast in Charlotte.

they can turn it around. the only question is "will they?" i think that is where the real debate should be.

And I don't disagree.

I don't know if they will do it, but all I do know is they have NO SHOT if they don't have the mentality Beason says they have. Right now, the team is looking 2006-ish where they had some of the same issues.

I don't put much stock in "winnable games". Every game is it's own entity and its own matchup.

I hope they come out like they did after their bye in 2005 which in my recollection was the last directly after the bye game they opened up a can of whoopass on their opponent, but I wouldn't put money on it that they will.

I can't argue with your last point re: NFC East, but the last time they played the AFC East they went 3-1. It doesn't mean anything as far as the present, but that's a fact.

Seriously...

Every week we are going to say "this is the week where they turn it around!"

Admitting your mistakes is a big part of improving, but these guys shouldn't need to make a big deal out of accountability. Just don't F up!

"Flying to the Ball" is a good metaphor for the BS of "we'll turn it around."

It's great to get to the ball carrier, but if your flying to the ball and the ball carrier is already 20 yds downfiled, then its kind of a STUPID philosophy.

Likewise, players thinking that admitting they suck is going to make them better is STUPID!

Tackle the F-ing ball carrier BEFORE he gets 20 yds. THen you won't have to apologize!

Until our philosophy becomes DOMINATING the line of scrimmage (like it was last year) we are going to be mired in failure.

Apparently this is what we get with Ron Meeks. One could argue that bringing him in is Fox's worst move of all!

Im sick to death of all this touchy feely bull poo. this team needs to step up and get a friggin pair. this aint supposed to be the girls volley ball team its the gd NFL, and until some of these slackers and non doers realize that they aint going to do poo. They need a coach willing to rip their heads off and crap down their throats.

I like what Beason said, and I like the accountability. FB has a good point--if they were fractured, then there would be no shot.

But I don't believe in this team. Not at all. It's just talk to me. They are not good. You don't go from a bad team to a good team very often. And it won't happen with this team.
