I'll say this:  regardless of whether he gets in shape by the time the season rolls around, he doesn't fit the mold of what we've become accustomed to for our core players.  Every year, we deal with this nutsack not taking his job seriously and showing up out of shape.  For guys like TD, Luke, Cam, CJ, Greg, etc., there is no offseason.  It's a full time, year round job.  I'd bet KB is not very highly regarded in the locker room.

Unless something drastically changes I doubt he will get a second contract from us. I like momma's cooking just as much as the next guy but like others alluded to we pay big bucks to the guys who are all in year around. Think KB is a good dude, and it's his life to do whatever he wants and he's not hurting anybody in the grand scheme of things, but he would command a pretty nice contract based on his production and measurables. I think we exercised the 5th year to give us time to make up our minds on him and also to find a replacement if they don't like the effort he gives.
