Game of Thrones Season 7

The exchange with Bran and Littlefinger was a bit of a let down.  Not sure what the pouty look was about with Sansa watching her sister be badass.  Jaime and Bronn surviving might be the "Glen under the dumpster" moment for this show.

If Bronn pushed Jaime into the water, they gotta come up in front of Dany and a pissed off dragon. Or drown.

That's a good point. Perhaps Dany shows mercy and takes them as prisoners.  She could use Jamie as a negotiating pawn with Cersei.  I'm just a little concerned that she is starting to completely ignore her counsel. She did what Snow and Tyrion said not to do.

Not to mention...that water looked soooooo damn deep to be just a couple feet from the bank. Minor thing, but a few "Walking Dead" type nitpicks tonight

That was actually my first thought...why the hell is that water so deep three feet to the right of where his horse was galloping?

What did Bran say to Littlefinger just before Meera walked in? I rewound it a couple of times and it sounded like "Its the latter"...not sure though and not quite sure what he meant

Actually had to rewind twice and add subtitles.

"Chaos is a ladder"

which is  Littlefinger's strategy and something he has said before.  Actually think it was the name of the episode he said it in.

Bran's way of letting him know he knows

Ok, completely makes sense now

Chaos is a ladder. I believe it referenced directly something Littlefinger said earlier in the show.

Side note for book readers much more knowledgeable than me....just saw online a theory that Jaime could be Azor Ahai, and tonight is him being tempered in water (his hand is the sword?)...and that Cersei is Nissa Nissa...anything to this, or just random internet theory?

I read the books and that sounds insane to me. But I'm a sucker for a twist. :)

I've been rewatching the series with my wife who is watching for the first time, so the "chaos is a ladder" line was fresh to me, and it was about as badass as he dragon poo later in the episode to me. The "ladder" speech Littlefinger gave in Season 3 perfectly explains Littlefinger's mindset on life basically, so for Bran to drop that...damn son Littlefinger poo'd his pants a little I think.

Badass episode overall obviously. I need to rewatch to really get a handle on that battle scene. All I kept thinking when they showed Jamie and Bronn is "Jamie can't die now...please don't kill Bron...Jamie can't die now...pls don't kill Bron etc.", so I'm glad neither actually died. It was a little unrealistic, but uh, so is a dragon. No where near as bad as the poo show now known as The Walking Dead. And Jamie is probably wishing he didn't have a heavy ass golden arm as he's sinking to the bottom of that lake.

Aside from the battle, this episode was all about reunions. It was great to see Arya back in Winterfell. Clearly Bran gave her the Valyrn dagger for a reason, me thinks she'll use it to slay some white walkers.

The Theon and Jon reunion was short and sweet. The actor that plays Theon does a fantastic job of saying a lot without saying a word. So much baggage there, it'll be interesting to see if Theon can redeem himself for Jon.

The white walker cave drawing was pretty silly imo. A little too perfect to be thousands of years old.

Everyone is thinking Littlefinger is done and needs to die. They haven't  been paying attention. I'm sitting over here wondering when he is going to get back in the game. He is the game master he started this with killing Jon Arryn and he isn't going out on a whim. He is just sitting back and waiting for his next move.

Also still missing one last player. Where is Gendry?

If you really want ton know about Gendry...

Supposedly, he's in King's Landing, once again in the smith trade. Davos finds him when he and Tyrion actually go to King's Landing for a secret meeting with Jaime. When they are leaving, they get confronted by Gold Cloaks, and Gendry deals some blows with what appears to be Robert's warhammer.
