True, but I feel like he's the king of redemption in both the show and the books... I still got the feels when he waved bye to Brienne when her and Pod sailed away from Riverrun, lol.

I think there are those in the world that could still forgive Jaime for his sins. Cersei is just way too far gone.

First off they completely cut out two other uncles - Aeron and Victarion.

Aeron is more the religious zealot and Drowned God purist, while Victarion is more the brutish warrior. Theon runs into Aeron when he heads home.

Victarion basically is an honorable/religious warrior. He actually sails for Mereen in the books, hoping to woo Dany into joining him and giving her his fleet. He was sent to her on Euron's orders, with Euron wanting to be the one Dany married. But Victarion had ideas of his own and placed himself in that role (books haven't got further than the ships arriving in Slaver's Bay.)

Euron, like on the show, is kind of the exiled older brother that travels the world raping and pillaging. He supposedly has a dragon egg of his own at one point (although some theorize that he used it as payment for the murder of Balon in the books (in the show Euron did it).) He also supposedly has the horn Dragonbinder which allows him to control a dragon (but any man that blows it dies instantly, lol) which he sends with Victarion to Slaver's Bay.

Yara (Asha in the books) is way more of a better character in the books than in the show. She's more of a boss HBIC even though she is eventually captured by Stannis.

Euron even married Asha to some dude using a seal as a stand in. This prevented Asha from making any bonds of her own for political gain.

Euron is just a crafty/crazy dude that totally got shafted on the show's representation. Book Euron has one eye and a full suit of Valyrian Steel armor. He's into sorcery and obscure, heretical things. He's a plotter. He doesn't give a damn about anyone but himself. IIRC in the upcoming book he's also taken Aeron, his own brother, prisoner. He even crewed his whole ship with mutes whom tongue's had been ripped out.
