Game of Thrones Season 7

That is a LOT of dragonglass that needs to be mined, forged and made into weapons in a very SHORT amount of time lol. Also can anyone just make weapons out of dragonglass or only certain people?

I have missed the blurbs in the spoilers about it, so my untainted guesses would be:

A horn that will allow one to control a dragon

or

A dragon egg of her own

I lean more towards the horn, as he supposedly has one in the books. But I honestly don't know where the show is going at this point with that.

Yeah horn or...... Gendry, but not sure how that helps Cersei at this point.

also is Sandor the prince that was promised?

I've always held out a little hope that he was, but I'm not sure that he totally fits all the prophecy.

There's always been the underlying irony that he would be the Lord of Light's (fire) tool or champion, considering his obvious problems with fire.

I'm so glad the writers pointed that out in the fireplace scene last night. I totally wouldn't have gotten that irony on my own...

There is a scene, it looks like, in one of the previews, in which Beric Dondarrion's sword lights up with flame again this season. If you'll recall, it did it when he fought the Hound in the past, so it probably doesn't mean much. IIRC Thoros' frequently lit his own sword once upon a time when going into battle. But if Sandor pulls out a sword and that sumbitch bursts into flame, all bets are off. Arya or Sansa would be my candidates for Nissa Nissa.

Common theory, though, is that Jon is Azor Ahai, and Dany will be Nissa Nissa. Dany's impervious to fire, so it would somewhat make sense if Jon had to kill her that when he withdrew his sword it would burst into flame (meaning she had a heart of fire? lol)

That's really what draws me the most into GoT... all the theory and red herrings and prophecy... I think the books do a million times better, but the show is trying to do a bit of it, I think.

If I had to guess... We're going to find out that Valyrian Steel is forged somehow infusing dragonglass into the blade. This is what makes Valyrian Steel an equal banisher of WWs and wights to dragonglass alone. Gendry is supposedly an excellent smith, so maybe that will come into play. Maybe he's going to make some new Valyrian Steel blades to go alongside the dragonglass ones. Maybe not. Either way, I think it'll be a Valyrian Steel blade that becomes Lightbringer, and Jon already has one. Sam has one too. Brienne has one. Joffrey had one, which presumably passed to Tommen which now who knows... Littlefinger has a dagger. There's some others floating around, but having someone that could forge new ones would be huge. If Sandor gets his hands on one, OMG!

The best I can hope for, at this point, is that the Hound at least gets to kill Gregor-stein in the Clegane Bowl. My hopes for him are way higher, though.

I prefer the Jaime/Cersei theory for that.

I really hope Tyrion gets Cersei. I just feel like Jaime's had the chance enough and enough reason to do so, but he just keeps giving her a pass.
