ESPN has 10 QB's above Cam for this season.

Considering the state of the game in relation to concussions, and the long term effects, how exactly does one "exaggerate" helmet to helmet hits?

Cam didn't rush nearly as much last year as he has in years past.

As for the best, talking strictly on the football field rushing the ball, Vick would undoubtedly have to get the nod most likely.

Example: The poo Denver pulled against y'all was complete b.s. The hit Keanu Neal put on Cam was legal.

Incidental head to head when a runner lowers his helmet can't be avoided and should not be penalized.

Edit: Deion Jones. I hate we can't edit posts on here btw.

That's on me then cause I thought people were pissed about it since it lead to a Cam concussion.

You are talking about the two point conversion, right? I think even cam admitted it was his fault for slowing up. I think we're all more concerned about the hits cam takes in the pocket and behind the line of scrimmage. Cam slowed up and deion was trying to keep him out of the end zone, so I don't have a problem with that.

Yep, that's the play and Cam did say as much. If all QBs could be protected like Breesus we'd be okay.

You are the one who made the requirement 65+ completion percentage.

I'm not going to spell it out for you anymore. If you think completion percentage is the end all be all, you should just bow out of the discussion. There are so many factors at play, not to even mention the fact that throughout Newton's time here he has been just about the entirety of our offense. You can't have him carry the load passing and running, and then evaluate his statistics in a vacuum based on completion percentage.

What are you even talking about? His career passing touchdowns to interceptions ratio is 136 to 78 and when you add in rushing touchdowns it's 184 total touchdowns to 78 interceptions.

Again, if you are going to evaluate him, evaluate his whole game. If you are going to pick and choose statistics you just sound like a goober that doesn't actually watch football.

You said that there were plenty of QBs with high completion rates that suck so I ask you to give me ONE example of a QB that played at least 16 games, and had at least 65% completion percentage.

YOU COULD NOT

65% is considered good in today's NFL. Heck Bortles had 59% last year. Yes, completion % is one of many PASSING factors. I would say turnovers is the number one factor (thats why I referred to TD/INT) followed by completion percentage.

Which QB is better?

QB 1 who was 20 of 25 for 300 yds and 2 TDs

QB 2 who was 12 of 25 for 300 yds and 2 TDS

I guarantee you that a defense will fear QB 1 more because he had more success plays

And if you dont have a 2:1 TD / INT ratio you kinda suck.

I did evaluate his whole game. Did you not see i stated he was the greatest duel threat QB of all time? Again you are just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks.

Aaron Rodgers is a ridiculous scrambler, but dual threat would be saying a little much. Besides, if he was really a dual threat QB refs would be picking up yellow flags on the regular after Aaron gets laid out by a defender while scrambling. When was the last time you saw that happen?

Agreed.

Rogers average about 200 rushing yds a year

Cam averages about 600 a year. Wilson and Kaepernick were around 500

So to me he's not a duel threat.

"At least 65%" is the qualifier you added bud. Sub 70% or above QB's are generally in the elite convo. That is pretty clearly not what I was referring to.

You're going around in circles with yourself right now. I think we're done on this convo because I can't keep stressing the same points to you if you are just going to stick your fingers in your ears.

So give me an example based on what YOU stated.

So when you said "others", what you really meant was the singular "other".

One.

By the way, as an exception its a weak one since, at least on this forum, there were probably more Carolina fans that thought it was a fair hit than didn't.
