ESPN has 10 QB's above Cam for this season.

I don't really care for ESPN, but you took a lot of liberty in the way you paraphrased their list. The article was ranking QB depth charts as a whole, not just starting QBs. So all the single names you listed in the top ten were actually ESPN's ranking of that team's QB depth chart. But carry on with the "Everyone hates Cam and the Panthers" nonsense.

Cool.

People go on like that list is farfetched. A 52% completion rate is unreal for an NFL QB, surprised that he is that high.

People that blindly throw out completion percentage and nothing else immediately prove how little they actually know about evaluating QB play.

Some of the worst QB's in the history of the game have very good completion percentages overall.

Besides the fact that the type of offense you run has a hell of a lot to do with completions (long developing routes, slow receivers, helllooo?), how your offense is running and whether or not your QB is throwing on a bum shoulder makes quite a difference as well. This season Cam will be healthy and he will have two new weapons to assist him, I think if our offensive coordinator can actually utilize all this, not only will Cam thrive, our entire offense will.

Ryan, Stafford, Luck?  Ummmmm... NO, lol.

RW and Rivers?  Debatable.

Brady, Rodgers, BB, Brees, and Eli?  Probably.

The hype train for luck is still there, even tho cam has had a better career to date.

But I agree over all with what you're saying

A QB depth chart ranking and the Seahawks are above the Panthers even though Boykin is not only a 2nd year UDFA who sucks on the field but is a professional criminal who may be suspended.  Sure.

Name ONE QB with more than 16 starts with a completion % over 65?

Cam has all the tools. He is simply not consistent. Its not just completion %, It's TD/INT % as well.

We've ran a vertical passing offense with a bruising run game that has revolved around Newton since we drafted him. Yeah I want his completion percentage to go up, but you have to consider all factors.

The fact that you created an account just to argue with me about this leads me to believe you're a rival fan or a troll.

I can't wait for Cam's meaningless completion percentage to go up now that he's got two new weapons to dump quick passes and screens to. wonder what the next stat people will try to knock next.

With a revived screen and short game, the haters next point of emphasis with cam will be his dropping YPA.
