ESPN has 10 QB's above Cam for this season.

Lotta clicks for whiny butthurt panther fan bitches.

I would have him around 9-10. Ryan went to the Super Bowl last year and was pretty damn good, so currently he is the better QB, title is THIS season projections.

For ESPN this is pretty accurate. Why the hell would they rank him higher because he had a bad shoulder but supposedly would have done better if not? Rankings have little to do with subjective fanboy bullshit just like the other QBs.

I lol'd at you calling anyone else a bitch.

For the longest time you whined about the mere existence of Cam Newton threads until people started running you out with your tail between your legs. Do us a favor and go back to that.

OK, I know I'm gonna get my ass chewed for this, but the article is specifically discussing the confidence level going into this season. Cam is coming off his worse season ever and a surgery. You also have to figure in O-line questions and an "evolved" offense to get used to. They have a point that there are a lot of questions still to be answered.

BTW, I'd pick Cam over any of these guys come game day.

Team sport? Lol you super cam jock riders were the same ones calling him the goat in 2015 news flash last season was cams worst... he was awful...

Let's briefly look at Cam in 2016-

Denver game, led us to victory amidst unreal odds and circumstances, Gano choked it away.

Vikings-Oher concussed, game should have been over at halftime-maddening end to a maddening week of unrest in Charlotte https://www.google.com/amp/blackandbluereview.com/how-panthers-lost-to-vikings-in-first-half/amp/

@Falcons-concussed, and no QB in the game is stopping Julio from going off against a gimp Benwikere

Bucs-DA blows the game, no Cam

Saints-Cam is literally Superman even if told not to run but Sanchez in the defensive backfield exposed what was already a lost season in the dome.  Cam overcomes Gano choking again with a 2 point conversion.

Season basically over since hosting a playoff game is not possible.

Last gasp to make a miracle run at a wildcard?

Chiefs-Eric Berry and Marcus Peters make two plays like the superstars they are and take advantage of split second lapses of Cam and KB in what looked like an easy win against the AFC #2 seed.

Raiders-Cam shows a ton of mettle like the MVP he is on the road in a close loss, RR goes full p*ssy with the punt on 4th and short.

Seattle-Cam benched in mind numbing insanity, DA/Tolbert mind numbing play to start, SEASON OFFICIALLY OVER!!!!!!!!  Cam still makes freak play throwing 70 yards off back foot with TD to Ginn.

That dude is a loser shitposter but you are right. Cam was definitely off at times last season, but to me more often than not there were plenty of glimpses of MVP Cam Newton. It was just overshadowed by too many shitty circumstances, and some plain bad luck.

It's easy to forget that even with an MVP season and 50 touchdowns from Cam in 2015, some of our wins in the regular season still came down to the ball bouncing our way so to speak at crucial points in games. That just didn't happen in 2016, and it was paired with all the other bullshit. Obviously not a recipe for success.
