Doesn't CLE need a QB?  Kap isn't bad....Would be better than Brock and would give Kizer time to learn.

Oh, it would absolutely work.

If by "work" you mean "progressive sports media succeeding in their crusade to get their messiah, Colin Kaepernick, another job and saving him from his own poor choices".

It would NOT work, however, in any shape way or fashion for the Carolina Panther's TEAM.

Cam Newton has produced 184 TDs in 93 regular season games.

Colin Kaepernick has produced 85 TDs in 69 regular season games.

You don't win NFL games by passer rating and completion percentage.

Outside distractions can hurt a team and fair or not, Kaep is a rather large one. We're a team that wants to keep outside distractions to a minimum so I don't see it making sense.

I'd vastly prefer him as our #2 over DA, if he'd come at a good price. He fits our scheme better, wouldn't need to change the whole offense as much if Cam gets hurt.
